The Birth of Boss

We worked hard for many years and followed all the rules. There’s certainly nothing wrong with that. All we wanted was more control over our lives. The rub seemed to come with paying the mortgage, educating the kids and having health insurance -- not to mention the stuff we wanted in our living space and the equipment we think we need to enjoy life.

Every day we each lamented, "If only I was my own boss," and "If only I had enough money, time and freedom."

And then one day a chestnut of truth fell on our heads: We have no control. There is no rub. We are each our own BOSS and enough -- is as much as we say it is.

• Every day we get to refresh our relationship with forces greater than ourselves.
• We get to decide about the nature of our relationships with people, places and things.
• We get to decide what we think about.
• We get to decide what we do.
• We get to forget about the things we cannot control.
• We get to live the life we were put on this earth to live.
• We get to decide about the condition of our spirit.

A lot of chestnuts must have fallen that day, because we discovered we were not alone. Spirit seekers everywhere are reclaiming their lives in a frenzied world. They are unleashing their creativity to our mutual benefit. We feel a groundswell movement afoot.
